Serving the local community for over 30 years, The Medical Mission Sisters Thrift Shop, located in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia, features quality new and gently used merchandise, including jewelry, clothing for the entire family, and household items.
All proceeds from Thrift Shop sales support the work of the Medical Mission Sisters, a non-profit 501c(3) organization.
Celebrate World Laughter Day at our May 6 FUN-RAISER! Support the Thrift shop as you enjoy an afternoon of Fun & Laughter!

- 4:00 pm
at the Medical Mission Sisters Administration Building, 8400 Pine Road.
Tickets are $10.00 per person. Tables of 6 are available.
Our event will feature light refreshments, a 50-50, attic treasures, a silent
auction and raffle baskets. Wear your funniest hat for our funny hat
contest!

Don't miss our World Laughter Funshop with certified Laughter Leader, Barbara Hee
Our fun-raiser will include a workshop, led by Barbara Hee, where you can learn laughter exercises for stress relief, health and FUN !!! Certified in 2003 by the World Laughter Tour, Barbara has taken laughter many places during her 9 years in the laughter business. Seniors at the Riverview Retirement and Philadelphia Protestant Homes have enjoyed laughing with Barbara, as have cancer patients at Gilda's Club and at Nazareth Hospital; Barbara has also worked with nurses, teachers, Fox Chase Cancer Center radiologyoncologists, recreational therapists and individuals who just want to have fun and rediscover the laughter inside themselves.
